Alzheimer’s is a disease that is mainly associated with the elderly, but sadly can affect anybody. It is also a disease for which we may never get a cure, but we trust that we will have a better understanding of how to spot the symptoms earlier and to help with early diagnosis and treatments to delay the impact. We really don’t know when Evelyn’s first symptoms appeared, as is common for so many sufferers. We are so thankful to our Lord that He allowed us to enjoy her for many years and that He called her home when it was obvious that her quality of life had greatly diminished.
